DESCRIPTION:Cary’s 9th Annual Car Show\nSaturday\, May 21\, 2022 | 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.\nSouth Academy Street in Downtown Cary \nSpend a nice spring day seeing cars of yesteryear come alive and rule the roads alongside some of today’s modern hot rods and exotic cars. Find that special car that evokes memories of the past or dreams of the future. Academy Street will be full of entertainment\, food\, and fun for the entire family! \nCall for Car Show Entries\nEarly Registration has closed. Day-of registration will be available for $15 per car. Car load-in will take place from \n7-9 a.m. No cars will be allowed in after 9 a.m. for pedestrian safety. \nGETTING TO THE EVENT\nPlease enter the car show from Dry Avenue (in front of the Arts Center). You may arrive between 7 a.m. – 9 a.m. All cars must be on site by 9 a.m. in order to be judged\, regardless of if you pre-registered.\nReminder: Cars must remain at the event until 2:00 p.m. Early exits will not be permitted for safety reasons.\nFrom Interstate 40: Take exit 290 onto N.C. 54 West/Chapel Hill Road towards Cary. Get in the left lane and continue west for two miles on Chapel Hill Road. Turn left onto North Harrison Avenue. Cross over West Chatham Street. Your second left will be Dry Avenue. Then you will turn left onto S. Academy Street.\nFrom I-440 South:Take exit 101A (follow signs for Walnut Street/Shopping Centers). Turn left onto Walnut Street and continue on Walnut Street for about 2 miles and turn right onto Kildaire Farm Road. Kildaire Farm Road will turn into Dry Avenue and you will be then take a right onto S. Acedemy Street.\nCHECK IN – DAY OF REGISTRATION PROCEDURES\nCheck In begins at 7 a.m. and runs throught 9 a.m. All cars must be on site by 9 a.m. in order to be considered for judging. Cars arriving after 9 a.m. will be unable to enter.\nNo spaces are pre-assigned. Each car will be parked on Academy in the order that they arrive.\nOnce you enter and park your vehicle\, please walk over to the Check In area\, which is at the old library site. There you will fill out our registration form and pay the $15 Day of Registration Fee. Then you will receive your day of packet with your placard and score sheet for judging\, etc. You must have your placard and score sheet in order to be judged!\nIf you have a trailer\, you will be given instructions on where to park it when you arrive.\nWheels on Academy\nInformation to Know for:\nDAY OF REGISTRATION
